Pupil Minds Blog site : Reduction
[ad_1]
Reduction pours by means of my veins
I come to feel myself turning into me again
A thousand colours blended into one
Fitting with each other like an imperfect jigsaw
I think sometimes it can take a blend of grey
To arrive at the serene of the night time sky
I experience the disgrace wash away
As I rinse my fears with glimmers of hope
You’re not insane for feeling the extremes
Just human
I’m Madeleine, just one of the Sub-Editors of the blog. I thought I would contribute this poem to the site for National Poetry Month as poetry has aided me form through a lot of tough feelings and thoughts. I’m a modern graduate from The University of York with a passion for writing and mental overall health awareness.
